Higher Education Ph.D. candidate Wolayat Tabasum Niroo and Dr. Mitchell R. Williams presented, “Native Speakers Do Not Understand Me”: Experiences of Students from Developing Asian Countries with Academic English at an American University at the Society of Transnational Academic Researchers (STAR) Global Conference on December 10, 2021. Other presenters at the conference included former ODU faculty member Dr. Chris Glass and Dr. Natalie Cruz (HIED Ph.D., ’21) who is now a faculty member at Charleston Southern University.
