The Journal of First-generation Student Success (JFGSS) is pleased to announce a special issue slated for November 2022, focusing on the experiences of first-generation students at community and technical colleges.
Submissions that address the intersectional identities of first-generation students at community and technical colleges and their multifaceted experiences are welcome. The special issue will include empirical articles and a Notes From the Field section addressing practitioner-focused submissions. As with the JFGSS standard process, all manuscripts under consideration for the special issue will go out for closed peer review. The timeline for the November 2022 special issue is as follows:
Deadline for submissions: March 15, 2022
Final revisions due: August 1, 2022
Special issue published: November 2022
