Apply for an ACUI Writing and Research Award by December 11
ACUI (Association of College Unions International) is the leading association for the student union and activities profession. ACUI is committed to advancing professionals who work to build community at institutions around the world, providing a welcoming community from which one can learn and grow.
The ACUI Writing and Research Awards provides opportunities for association members to receive funding to assist with their scholarly research and writing to advance the field of college unions and campus activities. This is a great opportunity for graduate students to contribute to the knowledge base of the profession, receive funding to support their projects, and advance the research agenda for ACUI.
APPLY by December 11 for the following:
ACUI Research and Education Grant: Awards up to $1,500 toward research-based projects that increase the knowledge-base of the college union and student activities profession
Chester A. Berry Scholar Award: Recognizes outstanding writing related to campus community with a $400 cash prize
Daniel M. Maxwell Dissertation of the Year Award: Celebrates outstanding doctoral research with a $400 cash prize in addition to being published in The Bulletin.
Gretchen Laatsch Grant & Scholarship: Awards up to $1,000 to graduate students involved in scholarly research and writing in the field of college unions and activities.
Nominations are also being accepted for the Distinguished Faculty Award, honoring a faculty member for their support of college unions and campus community building.
