Call for nominations of students for the Meredith Scholarship, the Alumni Association’s Outstanding Scholar Fellowship, and the Graduate School General Scholarship. The following material must be submitted to the Graduate School via email (graduateschool@odu.edu) for each student nominated by Monday, May 18, 2020:
- A letter of nomination from the GPD, Program Coordinator or faculty member indicating why the student should be considered for the award (if the student is being nominated for more than one award, a complete package for each nomination must be submitted);
- An unofficial copy of the student’s transcript;
- A goal statement written by the student (500 words maximum); and
- A CV from the student.
Please note that the awards are not discipline-based but that one of the Alumni Association awards must be given to an ODU alumna/alumnus. Students who already hold an assistantship may be nominated for any or all of the awards.
