Mog was a Fulbright scholar to the Philippines in 2001, where he did his dissertation research on developing and applying a framework for evaluating sustainable rural development programs. He seeks an Earth restored and lives his life accordingly.

She also worked with Peace Corps (Burkina Faso, West Africa) as a program officer for small enterprise development, focusing on the economical benefits of sustainable agribusiness and ecotourism opportunities. Armour served as the assistant director for the Resource Assistance for Rural Environments program at the University of Oregon, working to increase the capacity of rural communities to improve their economic, social, and environmental conditions. Additionally, Armour served with Peace Corps (Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa) as an urban environmental management volunteer.

Dr. Joe Larragy is lecturer in social policy at Maynooth University. He is a sociologist who has worked in various think tanks before coming to Maynooth in 2001. He has a range of interests, including ageing, and forms of participative governance and voluntary-statutory relationships. In 2013, he founded Maynooth Green Campus (MGC), a partnership between Maynooth University, St. Patrick’s College Maynooth, and Trócaire (a major Irish development agency with HQ on the campus). MGC works on climate justice and campus-level environmental action in several thematic areas. MGC is a citizen-driven initiative that links scientists and the wider campus community and works to mainstream environmental concerns across the curriculum. Thanks to MGC, in 2015, Maynooth became the first university in Ireland to adopt a policy of not investing its funds in fossil fuel industries. MGC has co-hosted conference and workshops on climate justice ethical and zero carbon investment. In 2018, Maynooth was rewarded with the Green Campus Flag by the Copenhagen-based Foundation for Environmental Education.
