Kcatt Christian (current MSEd student) is appointed to WeLead!

Continuing on the dream that she presented in her master’s application, Kcatt Christian (current MSEd student) will be participating in WeLead at American University to learn about the campaign trail over the next seven months. As she finishes up her master’s in Higher Education, Kcatt will be collaborating with other future women leaders to learn how to fundraise, lead a political campaign, and run for public office. WeLead attempts to close the gender gap in politics by training women, through the latest research, on which skills they will need. Kcatt hopes to become the Secretary of Education for the state, and eventually the federal government, by the end of her career. She advocates for the inclusion of accessibility for disabled students and those struggling with mental health issues through developing better support structures.
