Congratulations to Krista Harell (MS.Ed. ’03; Ph.D. ’12) on her appointment to the CIVIC Executive Class of 2026!

She serves as Associate Vice President for Alumni Relations at Old Dominion University, where she proudly leads engagement efforts for a vibrant global community of over 174,000 Monarch alumni. With more than 22 years of experience in higher education, Dr. Harrell strategically supports alumni relations as part of ODU’s University Advancement leadership team. She chairs the YWCA South Hampton Roads Board and is active with Zeta Tau Alpha’s Alumnae Chapter. Dr. Harrell grew up in Newport News, VA and earned all three of her degrees from ODU!
