Hello new professionals,
I’m inviting you to take part in a dissertation study exploring how graduate preparation programs shape the transition into full-time Student Affairs work—especially around identity, expectations, and professional values.
If you completed a master’s program in Higher Education or Student Affairs within the past 1–3 years and are currently working (or have worked) in the field, I’d be honored to learn from your experiences.
What’s involved:
- A brief intake survey
- Up to 4 Zoom interviews over 6 months (45–60 minutes each)
- Flexible scheduling and fully remote participation
- $5–$20 gift card per activity (up to $45 total)
- All responses kept confidential and de-identified
Eligibility:
- Graduates of a master’s program in the past 1–3 years
- Currently working (or recently worked) full-time in Student Affairs or Higher Education Administration
- Age 18+ and able to complete remote interviews
