The Study Away Administrator will serve as a key member of the Special Programs team, supporting the management and administration of international exchange programs and study away scholarship opportunities. As a member of the Student Outreach group, the role plans events, manages event calendars, reviews text for promotions and updates, and creates digital content. In addition, the position strategically liaises with offices at the university to ensure OGP opportunities are well known. The role contributes to the vision of the Office of Global Programs by providing a high level of student services for matriculated and non-matriculated students engaged in NYU’s Global Network by providing admission and enrollment, academic, career, financial aid, cultural awareness, travel planning, and personal advising to students; representing and marketing NYU Global Programs to potential students at on-campus and off-campus events; cultivating relationships with students, Profiles and college advisors to encourage a positive response and interest in enrolling at NYU Global Programs; reviewing and evaluating students’ admission applications to achieve University, geographic, and departmental enrollment targets by encouraging qualified students to apply; supporting the University’s emergency response protocol and contributing as part of the Global Programs Enrollment and Student Services team.
