Alumni Honors Dinner 6:00 – 9:00pm at The Main Norfolk
Celebrate distinguished and outstanding alumni who have excelled in their professions and impacted their communities. The Alumni Honors Dinner takes place at The Main Norfolk and pre-registration is required.
Monarchs Give Back- Final Event Celebration 2:00 pm at the Mitchum Basketball Performance Center
This annual event is a campus-wide food collection to benefit Hampton Roads children experiencing food insecurity. This year, our goal is to collect 40,000 non-perishable items / monetary donations to benefit Norfolk Public Schools and ODU’s Monarch Pantry.
Campus Tour 4:30 – 5:30 pm time at the ODU Welcome Center
Come see what’s new at ODU with this student-led campus tour on foot. The tour is about 1-mile and lasts 1 hour which leaves plenty of time to drive over to the ODU Sailing Center for the Homecoming Social with Fireworks.
Homecoming Social with Fireworks 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the ODU Sailing Center
Join ODU alumni, faculty, staff, and community supporters for this second annual event! This event will be held at the ODU Sailing Center along the historic Elizabeth River and feature music, food, activities, and twice as many fireworks as last year!
BAC’s 35th Anniversary Social Mixer 7:00 – 11:00 pm at Waterside
Join fellow Black Alumni Chapter members as they officially kick off Homecoming weekend! Co-Sponsored by: The ODU Black Alumni Chapter and the ODU Alphas Alumni Chapter.

Homecoming Parade 11am on the ODU Campus
Join the ODU community for this time-honored tradition. The parade will begin on Powhatan Ave and continue onto 49th street. Be sure to wear your Monarch attire!
ODUAA Tailgate 11:30 am on Kaufman Mall
Come by and tailgate with other alumni, fans and supporters! Enjoy a buffet, cash bar, music, games and raffles. Game tickets and tailgate tickets are available at www.odualumni.org/football2024. Game tickets are also available at https://odu-chartway.evenue.net/list/ODUFB.

Come cheer on our Monarchs as they take on the Texas State Bobcats! The game time and ESPN Network will be announced 10 days prior to kickoff. This will be the first meeting between ODU and Texas State.

In the spirit of Homecoming traditions, come and renew old friendships with NPHC Fraternities and Sororities and reconnect with fellow Black Monarchs. COST: FREE!
