Job Opportunity: Assistant Director for Multicultural Programs, James Madison University 

The Center for Multicultural Student Services (CMSS) within the Division of Student Affairs at James Madison University invites applications for the position of Assistant Director for Multicultural Programs. The Assistant Director will lead and oversee all aspects of the Diversity Education Empowerment Program (D.E.E.P. Impact) along with managing budget and other resources according to university and State policies. The Assistant Director will also serve as a faculty liaison connected to teaching and curriculum development for an academic course. Additionally, the Assistant Director will co-teach a 3-credit HRD 123 course: Developing Multicultural Competency for Effective Facilitation, in partnership with the College of Education. The Assistant Director leads content development and strategy to create curricular discussion and engagement that will enhance the co-curricular opportunities provided by the DEEP staff to the campus community.
