The Office of Leadership & Learning at Old Dominion University is seeking qualified applicants for its Assistant Director for Service Learning. This person is responsible for service-learning and civic engagement opportunities at ODU. This includes collaborating with university faculty and community partners to develop, facilitate, and support service-learning course development and implementation. In addition, the Assistant Director provides direct community service and civic engagement opportunities for students through the coordination of service project days, an Alternative Spring Break program, donation drives, and voter engagement efforts. This individual also supports food insecurity needs of ODU students through oversight of the Monarch Food Pantry and related programming and services. The Assistant Director supervises a graduate assistant and student interns and works collaboratively with the Director, Associate Director, Assistant Director for Living-Learning Communities, and Office Manager for Leadership & Learning.
