The newly launched Journal of Trauma Studies in Education (JTSE) is an online open-access academic peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the generation of knowledge regarding mental health and well-being, with a focus on the impact of traumatic stress within the context of Pre K-12 and Postsecondary Education.
The journal will accept manuscripts from varying perspectives within education that critically explore the nature and impact of trauma, as well as preventative and restorative approaches to trauma responses. Authors will be encouraged to submit manuscripts describing the use of a wide range of methodologies including qualitative investigations, quantitative studies, or experimental interventions.
Applications for editorial board members, reviewers, and copy editors are due Monday December 14th, 2020. Doctoral students currently enrolled in a graduate program are also eligible to apply. A separate call will be sent for manuscript submissions in late spring.
