Kim Bullington Sibson (Ph.D. ’14) and David Sultzer (CCL doctoral student) presented a paper written by Kim Bullington Sibson, William Nuckols (Ph.D. ’16), Dennis Gregory, and Sultzer entitled Bicker, Moan, Take Out a Loan: Financial Survival Skills for Graduate Student Veterans and How Campus Administrators and the Workforce Can Help at the 12th Annual Student Veterans Association (SVA) National Convention in Los Angeles, CA held January 3-6, 2020. In addition, the Old Dominion Student Veteran Association, advised by Kim Bullington Sibson, was awarded a Top Five Chapter award out of 1500+ SVA chapters in the country.

April Brecht is a 2010 graduate of the HIED Ph.D. program (2010). She recently had an article published from her dissertation. She is a true example of persistence and perseverance!
