In CCL 824, Dr. Garrett Hinshaw discussed disruptive changes, faulty assumptions, and how presidents negotiate competing budget priorities. Dr. Hinshaw is president at Catawba Valley Community College in Hickory, NC.
In CCL 830, Dr. Debbie Lamm discussed community college presidents and state-level advocacy. As president of the NC President’s Association, Dr. Lamm spent a lot of time in Raleigh, building relationships with legislators and sharing community college success stories. Dr. Lamm’s career in NC community colleges spans 39 years. She recently retired as president at Edgecombe Community College in Tarboro, NC.
