Dr. Pietro Sasso (faculty, Ph.D. ’12) , Dr. Kim Bullington (Faculty, Ed.S. ’10, Ph.D. ’14), and Dr. Shelley Price-Williams (University of Northern Iowa) publish a new article! In this study, they examine women’s ways of knowing in peer support of mental health. We find that women received rhetoric about mental health, but limited peer support. They primarily received significant support through trauma bonds from others with similar mental health experiences.
