Three Students Honored!

Three current doctoral students in the Community College Leadership Program were recently initiated into the Old Dominion University Circle of the Omicron Delta Kappa Society, the National Leadership Honor Society. The CCL students who were initiated are: Nancy W. Boylan of SUNY Orange in Middletown, NY; Elizabeth (Beth) M.E. Richards of SUNY Broome in Binghamton, NY; and Kaitlin R. Curry of SUNY Orange in Middletown, NY.

The Omicron Delta Kappa initiation ceremony was held on April 8, 2024, and it was led by ODU’s Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, Dr. Brian Payne. The keynote address was presented by Reneldo Randall, Director of Advising for Old Dominion’s College of Sciences.

Omicron Delta Kappa (ΟΔΚ) is a prestigious academic honor society with chapters at more than 300 colleges in the United States. It recognizes and celebrates excellence in leadership, scholarship, and service. Founded in 1914, ODK has a long-standing tradition of promoting and fostering leadership skills among college students and professionals.
