Marlatt in Urban Leaders Fellowship

Julie Marlatt, CCL Cohort 15, has been accepted into the Urban Leaders Fellowship (ULF) Denver virtual cohort for summer 2020. Fellows work in partnership with other ambitious, mission-driven individuals, organizations, and elected officials with the aim of bringing about real and lasting change in the community.

At ULF, fellows spend half of their time working on impactful policy proposals with a successful elected or appointed official in the region to make their vision a reality through research, drafting, and implementation of critical legislation. ULF fellows have influenced over 150 pieces of policy, including Colorado immigration reform, landmark educator effectiveness legislation, and major school district reforms like implementing academic performance frameworks and funding early childhood education programs.
