The AERA Division J Emerging Scholars experience invites applications from a range of advanced doctoral and early career scholars across a range of arenas, communities, and sites of inquiry into post-secondary, tertiary, and higher education. The experience will cultivate a community of scholars committed to grappling with difficult questions, supporting and affirming the commitments of the full cohort of 2020 emerging scholars, and cultivating the skills, perspectives, and tools to become loving, affirming and intentional leaders committed to critical praxis in AERA, professional associations, colleges, universities, think-tanks, policy organizations, government, non-government organizations, and a broad scholarly and intellectual community.
The Emerging Scholars Program will take place on April 16-17, 2020 at the AERA Conference in San Francisco, California, United States. Make sure to submit the application by the October 15th deadline!
The 2020 Division J Emerging Scholars Workshop is co-coordinated by Paul Eaton (Sam Houston State University) and Keon M. McGuire (Arizona State University). Questions: email@example.com or Keon.McGuire@asu.edu. Find more information here.
