Are you looking for leadership experience in the student affairs/higher education profession? The Placement Exchange is looking for dynamic first-year (or non-graduating) master’s graduate students interested in serving as TPE Ambassadors on their home campuses. Selected TPE Ambassadors share career search information, updates, and resources with their on-campus peers and faculty, and implement initiatives and workshops to assist their cohort members with the student affairs job search process. TPE Ambassadors gain valuable experience in logistics, marketing, event planning, career planning, and community development. In addition, Ambassadors have the opportunity to network with peers from other institutions as well as current student affairs practitioners.
Applications are due Sunday, September 22nd at 11:59pm PST. Learn more online or go to www.theplacementexchange.org/conference/ambassadors for more information.
Note: A select group of ambassadors will also have the opportunity to serve as TPE Interns. Interns will be selected in early December. TPE Interns will assist the TPE Planning Committee with the planning and execution of the 2020 TPE Onsite Event held from March 25-28 in Austin, Texas.
Questions? Contact Aaron Harris (Chair) and Nikiah Campbell from the TPE Ambassador and Intern Program Subcommittee, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
